We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Panthera Building Corp.

Job Summary:

The Building Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our apartment/condominium complex, ensuring that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week, with room and board provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Advertise vacancies and show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
  • Perform safety and security checks, and work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliability
