About the Opportunity

The IWK Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Leader to join our Provincial Preschool Autism Service (PPAS) team. As a Clinical Leader, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership, supervision, and support to staff in the Clinical Intake and Care Coordination service stream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to staff in the Clinical Intake and Care Coordination service stream
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other clinical leaders and teams to identify and meet learning needs
  • Provide direct clinical care to clients and their families
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. occupational therapy, clinical psychology, speech-language pathology)
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience working with children with autism
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
