Job Title: Airport Cleaner/Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Airport Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team at Kelowna Airport (YLW). As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash and recycling, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment, such as auto scrubbers, polishers, and carpet cleaning machines.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Assist with minor maintenance repairs and lift/move furniture as required.
  • Work overtime as needed to ensure the airport remains clean and safe.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
