Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating inspections, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • Supervise staff and ensure they meet safety standards and departmental policies
  • Maintain financial records and inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
