Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a General Clerk/Retail Clerk at our Urban Fare location in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing information and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive team culture.
- Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure an attractive and well-stocked store.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
