About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at Ccaa Infant and Toddler Child Care Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, encouraging their creativity and exploration.
  • Child Development Support: Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while also observing and reporting on their progress to parents and guardians.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers, working together to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the well-being and security of children at all times.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and medical exam
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, reliability, team player, values and ethics
