Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Rosewood Medical Clinic.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our clinic's healthcare policies.
Responsibilities- Consult with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and other medical procedures.
- Participate in health care policy and planning, and contribute to the development of our clinic's healthcare policies.
- Advise patients on health care and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities.
- Be the patient advocate and provide support to patients and their families.
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care, and provide acute care management.
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
