Job Title: Installation and Maintenance Specialist

Rcom Communication Ltd is seeking a skilled Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, including electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems.
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and analyze test results to adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software.
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports.
  • Determine nature, cause and location of trouble and work with team to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Work Environment:
