We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Fortinos (Major Mackenzie 2020). As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including bread, rolls, muffins, and cakes.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake and decorate cakes and pastries to a high standard.
- Train and assist other team members as required.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Operate bakery equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related environment.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
