Job Summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Technical Intern to join our team. As a Senior Technical Intern, you will work closely with our Production Manager/Supervisor and manufacturing Engineer to conduct various engineering assignments, including time/motion studies on the production floor and carrying out basic work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the conduct of engineering assignments, including time/motion studies and basic work instructions
  • Conduct research in a particular field under the supervision of engineers
  • Support the production team in gathering and assembling production line data
  • Complete assigned tasks on time and to a high standard
  • Develop good interpersonal skills and build a strong network within the company
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering and production staff, methods, programs, and practices
  • Support the company's mission, values, and culture

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Engineering student with some progress towards an engineering degree
  • Participation in a co-op program at a recognized educational institution
  • Diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment
