About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geologist to join our team at ZALIG CONSULTING LTD. as a key member of our geological consulting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to expand our understanding of the Earth's surface and subsurface features.
  • Develop and implement advanced models and software for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Identify and provide expert advice on potential natural hazards.
  • Plan and execute analytical studies of core samples to determine their chemical, mineral, hydrocarbon, and biological composition.
  • Lead and participate in the analysis of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross-sections.
  • Oversee and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Recommend strategic land acquisition, exploration, and mapping programs, as well as mine development initiatives.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure accurate field data collection.Technical Requirements
    • Proficiency in ArcGIS and other mapping and data visualization software.
    • Ability to perform complex data manipulation and analysis.
    • Experience with computerized modeling and simulation exercises.
    Work Environment
    • On-land field work experience.
