Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for attracting, selecting, and hiring top talent to support our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our healthcare institution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, managers, and job applicants, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top candidates.
  • Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to support our talent acquisition goals.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in human resources software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
