Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team at Lightspeed. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for meeting with customers and identifying ways to grow their business, improve data usage, and enhance their customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out the sales cycle, including identifying and developing leads, meeting with clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Successfully run in-person and online demonstrations of our solutions with restaurateurs.
  • Focus on 100% net new business in your assigned territory, with a strong emphasis on being in the field every week.
  • Closely monitor and meet sales quotas.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our industry, products, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records within our CRM solution.
  • Process sales quotes and orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Familiarity and proficiency with full lifecycle sales process management.
  • Experience prospecting new business and closing deals.
  • Intermediate experience with quota-carrying sales roles.
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage and organize pipeline.
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives.
  • Able to work on the road within your sales region.
  • Strong work ethic and self-driven desire to succeed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable mode of transportation daily.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Experience selling in a SaaS environment.
  • Prior experience as an AE with a track record of success in in-person sales.
  • Prior experience working in or with restaurants.
