Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook meals for clients in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient meal preparation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Cook Trade Certification: Possess a valid Cook Trade Certification.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check: Have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Criminal Record Check: Have a valid Criminal Record Check.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a correctional facility or similar setting is an asset.
