We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at BC Cancer, providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in Abbotsford, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including assessment, intervention, symptom management, and treatment coordination.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as required, and monitor patient reactions to treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including nursing assessments, telephone communications, and care evaluations.
- Admit, transfer, or discharge patients according to BC Cancer policies and Centre directives.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR (Level C) certification.
- One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A comprehensive BC Cancer nursing orientation program.
