Make a Difference in Northern Manitoba

Bayshore HealthCare's Northern Paramedic program offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality paramedic services and health guidance to individuals, families, and groups in Northern Communities of Canada.

The Role:

As a Travel Paramedic, you will work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) providing care to community members in Canada's remote Northern communities of Manitoba and Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary care and emergency services, including medevacs and medical evacuations
  • Assist with administrative duties associated with daily operations
  • Travel to remote, semi-isolated, and isolated areas via small aircraft, off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, and other modes of transportation
  • Relocate to locations of work as defined by operational needs
Requirements:
  • Valid registration/licensure with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba
  • Malpractice insurance through the College of Paramedics of Manitoba
  • At least 1,950 regular working hours of experience accumulated in the past two years
  • Valid Class 4 Driver's License
  • Willingness to obtain a Reliability Status level security clearance
