Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Energy North Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Help frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Pave and rake asphalt, and assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Green job: involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
