Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Energy North Construction Inc. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and help medical examiners as needed.
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various locations, including construction sites and outdoors. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
