Job Opportunity: ESL Instructor

The Greater Essex County District School Board is seeking a qualified ESL Instructor to join our Continuing Education Program. As an ESL Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality language instruction to adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective ESL instruction to adult learners
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
  • Valid Ontario Teacher's Certificate
  • TESL Ontario Accreditation (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database software
