Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Lead People Business Partner, this role will provide exceptional HR services to our Sales leadership team, focusing on key HR disciplines such as performance management, employee development, compensation, workforce planning, organizational design, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic HR roadmap that encompasses critical HR initiatives across the sales division in both the USA and Canada.
- Oversee the implementation of HR processes and projects, including compensation evaluations, organizational assessments, and talent management initiatives.
- Foster a performance-driven culture by designing and customizing HR performance programs and frameworks.
- Guide and mentor leaders on HR-related matters to ensure consistency in programs and policies.
- Identify and implement solutions to address departmental challenges such as attrition, retention, engagement, and leadership development.
- Promote a culture of continuous development by establishing learning objectives and supporting employee growth.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to assess and enhance current programs and policies.
- Work closely with leaders to determine training needs and execute appropriate training solutions for the department.
- Provide coaching to employees on various HR topics.
- Assist in employee relations or compliance investigations, including conducting initial interviews and gathering facts.
- Maintain regular communication with employees regarding HR programs and initiatives.
- Deliver training sessions on performance management, career development, and personal growth.
- Advise managers and employees on situational issues, participating in internal investigations, corrective actions, and coaching.
- Keep accurate records on employee performance, talent mapping, succession planning, and promotion rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 4+ years of HR experience in a business partnership or advisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR legislation and labor standards.
- Advanced knowledge of HR practices, including Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Employee Engagement.
- Demonstrated success in developing HR programs tailored to meet the needs of client groups.
- Proficient in project management and change management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Effective communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
