About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team at the Pantages Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Clean and maintain the dishwashing machines, jet components, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping the floors, emptying garbage containers, and breaking down boxes.
  • Support the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff with food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean and properly sanitized at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs.
