Job Summary

The Steward is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related equipment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen and equipment are clean and well-maintained
  • Prepare utensils and equipment for use
  • Report to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Comply with Legends Hospitality's standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient stadium operations
  • Train line staff as needed
  • Ensure preparation of all equipment, dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment are completed according to established guidelines
  • Empty garbage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Report any broken equipment to the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
  • Support catering meetings and events through equipment setup and takedown
  • Comply with all Legends Hospitality Health and Safety policies

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar setting or operation is an asset
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable working in a non-toxic chemical environment
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, dishwasher machine, pot washer machine, power washer, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
