Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring prompt and courteous resolution.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
