We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Downtown Enterprise Ltd. as a Retail Butcher. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products and maintain accurate inventory
- Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats and poultry
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a meat cutting or retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
