We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Tiptop Foods Kitchen & Meat. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and prepare for sale
- Weigh meats for sale and ensure accurate pricing
- Cut poultry into parts and prepare for sale
- Price meat products and ensure accurate labeling
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets and prepare for sale
- Grind meats and prepare for sale
- Train new meat cutters on proper cutting techniques and procedures
- Slice cooked meats and prepare for sale
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Will train
