Miele is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of products to meet customer delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport products to meet delivery deadlines, adhering to company policies and procedures regarding delivery standards, damages, and health and safety.
- Conduct physical delivery of products, ensuring exceptional customer experience and providing customer contact information to resolve any concerns.
- Check items on the delivery manifest against the daily delivery schedule, loading products and reporting any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Pick-up and return appliances from customers to the warehouse, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with provincial safety laws and maintain a clean and well-maintained delivery vehicle.
- Report any issues with handheld devices to the manager and be flexible with scheduling to accommodate extended deliveries and traffic.
- Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks as required.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience operating a 5-ton truck or larger.
- Furniture/appliance mover experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
