We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families throughout the childbearing process.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Midwifery Model of Practice and will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to women and their families.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families throughout the childbearing process
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to women and their families
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for women and their families
- Provide education and support to women and their families on various aspects of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to women and their families
- Current registration with the Midwifery Regulatory Council of Nova Scotia
- Completion of a midwifery education program approved by the Midwifery Regulatory Council of Nova Scotia
- Experience working in a midwifery setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
