Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements and develop a comprehensive plan for completion.
- Carpentry Execution: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality carpentry products.
- Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Work Setting: Various locations, including on-site construction projects.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
