Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of medical conditions, including critical care and general medicine patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, functional, and cognitive needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) or recognized equivalent
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) is an asset
- Minimum one year of experience in critical care and general medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
