Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices in woodworking techniques and best practices.
  • Study and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate production of custom wood furniture.
  • Assemble and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
  • Apply finishes, such as varnish, veneer, stain, or polish, to finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
