At Atlantic Doors Inc., we are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. Your expertise will be essential in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and woodworking, with experience in handling heavy loads and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments. As a team player, you will be able to work accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
