As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to cultivate a team-oriented environment that emphasizes inclusivity and positive relationships. Your role will be pivotal in driving store performance by guiding the team to meet sales and profit targets, overseeing recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Your adaptability to various situations, challenges, and work schedules will be essential for your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the store meets company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  2. Provide leadership by balancing company policies, procedures, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  3. Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training top talent focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
  4. Implement merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting store atmosphere that encourages customer engagement.
  5. Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
  2. Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve strong sales results.
  3. High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
  4. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  5. Availability to work weekends and evenings.
