Regional Sales Manager Opportunity

Swegon North America, a leading supplier of indoor environment solutions, is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion for applied HVAC solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Present technical information to building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, leveraging your expertise in the HVAC industry.
  • Research and monitor competitors, identifying opportunities to assign or reassign territories to qualified representatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for reps and their customers, gathering information and providing communication.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Swegon's products and solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the HVAC market, products, and industry trends.
  • Experience with applied system sales, including chillers, air handling units, heat pumps, and BAS controls.
  • Proven ability to present technical information to groups of building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with HVAC end users at universities, colleges, and school boards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, both locally and internationally.
