Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Second Cup Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, receiving, unpacking, and storing them in designated areas.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, adhering to our quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
