Job Title: Hardware Installation Specialist – (12V Installation Expert)

Location: Remote (On-site at client locations)

Type: Contract

Compensation: Per call

Working Conditions: On-site at client locations, a mix of indoor and outdoor settings.

Requirements:

  • Access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • MECP Diploma or extensive 12V installation experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment, including GPS Navigation, Satellite Radio, Alarm Systems, and audio components.
  • Understanding of basic electrical/wiring practices and principles.
  • Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions.
  • Proficiency in using trade tools and following safety standards.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to troubleshoot issues over the phone.
  • Proficiency in operating a Windows-based laptop and desktop computer.
  • Familiarity with modems and wireless technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform new and replacement installations and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot previous/existing installations.
  • Provide general technical support for client issues.
  • Fill out installation time sheets and submit to administration.
  • Perform after-hours support and installations as needed.

As a 12V Installation Expert, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment in a variety of vehicles.
