Job Title: Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Manager to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our repair depot, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of technicians and support staff
  • Coordinate and prioritize work activities to meet deadlines and ensure safety
  • Monitor and control inventory levels and manage procurement processes
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures
  • Recruit and select staff, and provide training and development opportunities
  • Perform economic analyses and provide written reports to document results
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional overnight travel to other locations in the province.
