Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Nursing & Homemakers Inc. as a key member of our dental care services.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with dentists to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes.
- Supervision and Guidance: Provide guidance and oversight to dental assistants in their health care functions, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Diagnostic and Treatment Services: Take dental impressions, apply fluoride treatment, and remove stains and deposits from teeth, among other essential services.
- Patient Education and Support: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, empowering them to maintain good oral health.
- Administrative and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Certification: Hold a valid Dental Hygienists Licensure from the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced dental practice environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities and Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 37 hours per week, with occasional flexibility to meet business needs.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
