About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at Ana's Care and Home Support LTD. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and relevant certifications in personal care and support work.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of client-centered care principles.
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work, with flexibility to accommodate clients' needs.
