About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Shancheng Li, Lisheng Wu. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies.
  • Medication Administration: Assist clients with taking their medications, as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shopping trips, helping them with tasks such as grocery shopping and bill paying.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required.
