Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Lynn Valley Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the examination and treatment of animals, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Prepare and assist with surgical procedures, including patient recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and problem-solve effectively.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Pursue ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
  • Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
