Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Professional to join our esteemed practice at Bhullar Enterprises Inc dba Atlas Animal Hospital. This role is pivotal in ensuring the health and well-being of our animal patients.

Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in veterinary medicine, animal health, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is based in a Veterinary Clinic setting, providing a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for both staff and animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations to identify diseases or abnormalities in animals.
  • Administer treatment to sick or injured animals, including prescribing medications and performing surgical procedures.
  • Implement vaccination programs to safeguard animal health.
  • Offer guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and overall animal care.
  • Engage in veterinary research focusing on nutrition, healthcare products, and disease management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding disease control and food safety.
  • Perform routine and emergency examinations, including post-mortem assessments.
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including dentistry and euthanasia.
  • Oversee the work of animal health technologists and support staff.
Certifications and Memberships

Possession of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification is essential.
