Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations to identify diseases or abnormalities in animals.
  • Administer treatments, including medication, surgical procedures, and wound care.
  • Implement vaccination programs to safeguard animal health.
  • Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and overall animal care.
  • Engage in veterinary research to enhance knowledge in animal health and disease prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding animal health and food safety.
  • Perform routine and emergency examinations, including post-mortem assessments.
  • Offer a variety of veterinary services, including dental care and euthanasia.
  • Oversee the work of veterinary technicians and support staff.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Must possess certification from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
