Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our Tamper Training team. As a key member of our Production Crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the qualification and training of tamper operators, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for tamper operators, including on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Training group to coordinate training initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment failures or damage, and recommend remedial action as needed.
  • Lead the bulletin awards process for Production, ensuring safe practices and adherence to company regulations.
  • Administer the collective agreement and participate in staff requirements, including new hires.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ten years' experience in Production Crews, with at least five years' experience in Group 1 or Special Group Machine Operator.
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering field operations and production crews.
  • CROR qualified.
  • Strong computer skills and organizational leadership abilities.
