Job Title: Information and Awareness Agent
EnviroEmplois is looking for dedicated Information and Awareness Agents to support the implementation of a food waste collection initiative in multi-unit residential buildings. Under the guidance of the project manager, your role will focus on educating residents about the new service.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will:
- Conduct informative visits to residents to explain the food waste collection process;
- Gather and record data using digital tools;
- Distribute bins and informational materials;
- Undertake additional related duties as required.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals who possess:
- A completed or ongoing College Diploma, ideally in Environmental Studies (preferred);
- A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, environmental advocacy, or educational outreach;
- Good physical stamina for walking short distances;
- Excellent communication abilities, along with diplomacy, interpersonal skills, patience, autonomy, and persuasive capabilities;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (preferred);
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
Employment Offer
- Contractual role with potential for extension;
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend shifts;
- Competitive salary starting at $17.48 per hour;
- Work locations include various sites in the designated areas.
