The Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at one of our Brampton production facilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities within the maintenance department, working closely with production facility members to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety policies and guidelines, conducting regular safety talks, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Manage daily maintenance activities, including work orders, schedules, and employee files, to ensure tasks are completed safely and correctly.
- Support the maintenance department in planning shutdown work, reviewing parts and schedules, and ensuring all necessary preparations are in place.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures to optimize team performance.
- Maximize fixed asset utilization rates and ensure proper transfer of information between shifts and departments.
- Comply with all company and regulatory policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), American Institute of Banking (AIB), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Quality and Safety Standards.
- Manage labor and operations within operating expenses (OPEX) budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Be available to work any shift and be on call as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; University degree in Electrical Engineering or technical red seal diploma in Electrical preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience required, with 1-3 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, with preference given to applicants with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) knowledge and experience.
- Excellent general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), with SAP experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Highly detailed problem-solving approach, with ability to come to solutions in a timely fashion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet target deadlines.
