About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Maharajah East Indian Restaurant SW. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that all products are accurately labeled and stored.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
