Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at TATA LOGISTICS LTD.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of drivers and the public.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of transportation operations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
