About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Fort McMurray. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Cash Handling: Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to management.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
