About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team at MS SOFA MANUFACTURE LTD. as part of our Furniture Manufacturing department. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assembly and Packaging: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products with precision and efficiency.
  • Support to Machine Operators: Assist machine operators and assemblers in their tasks to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Site Environment: Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment with dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: You will be working in a furniture manufacturing company with a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

  • Punctuality: You must be punctual and reliable in your attendance and work habits.
  • Initiative: You should be able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
