We are seeking a dedicated Wood Furniture Maker to join our team at Lifetime Furniture Mfg. Corp.. This role involves crafting high-quality wooden furniture with precision and care.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in furniture making or a related field.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic setting, which may include:
- Furniture manufacturing facilities
- Furniture restoration workshops
- Interpret and analyze plans, specifications, or drawings for furniture production.
- Assemble components and subassemblies, ensuring a tight fit and reinforced joints.
- Finish wooden surfaces through sanding, applying veneer, stain, or polish, and preparing laminated materials.
- Calculate material requirements and associated costs for projects.
- Restore or redesign wooden furniture and related items as needed.
This position focuses on the furniture sector, emphasizing craftsmanship and quality.
